Florida Gov. Rick Scott signed into law Monday three education bills. SB 864 allows parents to object to school textbooks. The governor also signed a bill that would bar school districts from being able to collect student data like fingerprints. SB 188 also bars the collection of information on the political or religious affiliation of students and parents.
