The Department of Financial Services is withdrawing its subpoena of a reporter as part of an investigation into a group spreading misinformation about the Affordable Care Act.
Chris Cate, spokesman for Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater, who oversees DFS, said the agency only subpoenaed WFSU radio reporter Lynn Hatter because it was asked by Florida State University lawyers to issue the subpoena.
