CRAFT BREWERS… The Senate Commerce and Tourism Committee will consider SB 186, a bill by Sen. Jack Latvala that would allow some craft brewers to engage in on-site sales of their products 2 p.m. Monday in room 110 of the Senate building.
LEWD BEHAVIOUR… The Senate Criminal Justice Committee will be the first committee to hear a proposed repeal of a law that prohibits different-sex cohabitation 2 p.m. Monday in room 37 of the Senate building.
EDUCATION BUDGET… The House Education Appropriations Subcommittee starts discussing its budget proposal 4 p.m. Monday in room 17 of the House building. Several other House budget subcommittees follow suit Tuesday.
CLASS SIZE… The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Education takes up SB 818 revising the calculation for class sizes from being based on individual classes to a school wide average 4 p.m. Monday in room 412 of the Knott building.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE… The House Criminal Justice Subcommittee hears a number of bills, including proposals to regulate drone surveillance, a new awareness campaign for human trafficking victims, and the House version of a bill to repeal the state’s cohabitation ban in room 404 of the House building at 4 p.m.
PUBLIC LANDS… The House Transportation and Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee discusses Rep. Jim Boyd’s, R-Bradenton, SB 1293. The measure creates the Land Acquisition Trust Fund within the Department of State for the purpose of implementing Amendment #1. The meeting takes place in room 102 of the House building from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.

PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS… The Senate Community Affairs Committee considers SB 824, which institutes several reforms to how the state conducts and monitors P3 (public-private partnership) programs 9 a.m. in room 301 of the Senate building.
PUBLIC RECORDS… The Senate Governmental Oversight and Accountability Committee meets in room 401 of the Senate building to discuss five different proposed exemptions to public records laws 9 a.m. Tuesday.
JUSTICE APPROPRIATIONS… The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal and Civil Justice hammers out funding for the state’s law enforcement agencies and courts 2 p.m. Tuesday room 37 of the Senate building.

STATE UNIVERSITIES… The Board of the Governors of the State University System meets Wednesday and Thursday at Florida A&M University. The agenda includes housing for Florida Polytechnic University and 2016-17 budget guidelines. More information can be found here.

PUBLIC LANDS… The Senate Appropriations Committee will take up a package of bills, sponsored by Sen. Charlie Dean, R-Inverness, that restructure the state’s trust funds to implement Amendment #1. The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in room 412 of the Knott building.

LAND CONSERVATION… The Gainesville Sun is holding a forum on land and water conservation, including a discussion of how state lawmakers are planning to spend Amendment 1 money 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bob Graham Center on the University of Florida campus.
