By the numbers: Fewest bills passed in more than a decade
The 264 bills passed by the Legislature this year is the lowest total since at least 2001. Controversial proposals were tempered by Gov. Rick Scott's reelection and measures supported by voters, like in-state tuition for qualified undocumented students and a form of medicinal marijuana, passed and are headed to his desk.
