A Senate budget panel Thursday rewrote most of a House tax cut package with a variety of carve-outs and sales tax holidays for specific industries, described by Rep. Ritch Workman, R-Melbourne, as a “patchwork of awesomeness”, to impose more “broad-based” tax cuts in an attempt to provide tax relief to more Floridians.
