According to a University of Florida survey, Florida consumer confidence levels remained unchanged in December at 77.
Three of the five components that make up consumer confidence fell for the month, with perceptions of personal finances compared to a year ago falling two points to 67, the one-year outlook on the U.S. economy falling two points to 74 and the perception of whether now is a good time to buy big-ticket items falling four points to 88. The five-year outlook on the U.S. economy was unchanged at 76 and expectations of personal finances a year from now jumped six points to 80.
