Scott wins support with creation of transportation planning task force

Gov. Rick Scott's executive order creating a task force to study transportation planning around the Orlando area is winning support from some environmentalists.

Scott on Friday created the East Central Florida Corridor Task Force to develop recommendations on transportation, environment and land-use planning for portions of Brevard, Orange and Osceola counties.
