Interim SUS chancellor recommended
Jan Ignash, vice-chancellor and chief academic officer of the State University System, has been recommended by Dean Colson, the chairman of the Board of Governors, to take over as interim chancellor, according to a news release from the Board of Governors. The board will be asked to approve Ignash at its Sept. 12 meeting. If accepted by the board, she would assume the role Oct. 1, after the departure of outgoing Chancellor Frank Brogan.
