State economists said Friday that Florida's revenue collections were on the money for the past fiscal year, and projected a fairly small increase in major taxes and fee collections for the next two fiscal years.
Legislative appropriations chairmen greeted the Revenue Estimating Conference report with caution. The interagency panel of economic forecasters did not project shortages requiring budget cuts or dipping into reserves, but the rate of expected increase was sluggish.
