A task force is suggesting state agency actions and legislation to carry out recommendations issued last month to prevent military installations in Florida from being closed.
The Florida Defense Support Task Force is suggesting that agencies develop plans to improve roads leading to military installations and prevent nearby development that may interfere with military operations. The task force also wants state officials to develop an energy plan to encourage utilities to make renewable energy available to military installations.
