Do government-run hospitals cost patients more money?
Research conducted by Florida State University shows that the costs of inpatient admissions at government owned hospitals is $656 more than admissions at private for-profit and not-for-profit facilities. On a daily basis, the research shows, government hospitals cost $172 more per day.
